Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. How to Cancel

To cancel your booking, please contact us at lumtravels26@gmail.com with your booking ID. Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email) to be valid. Verbal cancellations over the phone are not accepted.

2. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used at the time of booking. Razorpay may take an additional 2–3 business days to reflect the amount in your account.

3. Modifications to Booking

Date changes and itinerary modifications are subject to availability. We allow one free modification more than 10 days before the travel date. Subsequent modifications or changes requested within 10 days of travel are treated as cancellations and re-bookings.

4. Cancellations by Lum Travels

In rare circumstances (extreme weather, natural disasters, unforeseen government restrictions), Lum Travels may cancel a trip. In such cases, you will receive a full 100% refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

5. Non-Refundable Items

Booking convenience fees, third-party permits (e.g., restricted area permits), and any add-ons purchased separately are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations, medical emergencies, and trip interruptions. Lum Travels is not responsible for losses arising from failure to obtain adequate travel insurance.
